Step-by-step guide to connecting the Cryptomus payment system
In this article, we will look at the process of integrating the Cryptomus payment system into your project, which will allow you to accept cryptocurrency payments.
Following our steps, you can easily set up everything you need to work with Cryptomus.
Step 1: Register on the Cryptomus website
To get started, go to the website Cryptomus and start the registration process. You can register in two ways: via e-mail or phone number.
Open the registration form.
Enter your email or phone number.
Set a password for your account.
Select your country of residence (for example, Russia).
Confirm your agreement to the terms and click "Create an account".
A confirmation code will be sent to your email or phone. Enter it to complete the registration.
Step 2: Passing KYC Verification
For full use of the system, it is necessary to pass KYC verification.
Log in to your profile by clicking on the icon in the upper-right corner of the screen.
Click on the KYC status, which is likely to be "Failed".
Select the type of document to verify your identity (for example, a passport).
Upload a photo of the document or use the continue function on your phone. In this case, open the camera, point at the QR code and upload the photo via your mobile device.
Complete Face ID verification by granting access to the devices camera.
After confirming the identity of the KYC, the status will change to "Passed".
Step 3: Create a Merchant
Now that the account is confirmed, you can create a merchant to accept payments.
Go to the "Business" section and open "Merchants".
Click on the button to create a new merchant.
Enter the name of your merchant (for example, the name of the project) and click "Create".
Step 4: Merchant Setup
After creating a merchant, you need to configure it to work.
Go to the merchants settings section.
Click on "Submit a request" and select the type of project (in our case, via the website).
Copy the URL of your project, go to the control panel of your project and paste it into the appropriate field on Cryptomus.
Enter the name of the project and submit the application for review.
Step 5: Domain Verification
For the system to work correctly, you need to confirm the domain.
Select the confirmation method via the meta tag.
Copy the suggested code and paste it into the billing settings of your project.
Go back to Cryptomus, copy the merchants ID and paste it into the system settings.
Save the changes.
Step 6: Project Moderation
After all the steps are completed, the project is sent for moderation, which can take up to 24 hours.
In the "Merchants" section, you will see the status of your project: "New" or "Active".
After the moderation is approved, the status will change to "Active" and you will be able to start using the payment system.
Step 7: Completing the setup
After successful moderation:
Go to the merchants settings.
Copy the payment API key and paste it into your project settings.
Save the changes.
Now the Cryptomus payment system is fully integrated into your project, and you can accept cryptocurrency transactions.
